Mega man 6 ost11/13/2022 Underneath the Australian Sun (Sand): This song kind of bores me, honestly, and it feels.I dunno, but it doesn't even feel all that MM-like. But disregarding that since I don't have much problem with the OST, I'll note that it works exceptionally well for the stage, so I'm thinking this might be a good one to remix. Spooky Robots (Ghost): I honestly kind of like this theme. Game Over 2: This is a theme from Mega Man Soccer, specifically the Formation Select theme, no wonder it sounds so MM-like. Game Over 1B: This works a LOT better than Game Over 1A, and honestly, I wouldn't mind if this was the only game over theme all things considered. >_> Anyway, I do like the idea of remixing the fortress theme into the game over themes though. Game Over 1A: I don't like you Wily theme, go away. Also, a case where I think the out of style channel is more effective for the theme, since Remir is NOT a traditional MM villain in any sense.īoss Victory: I've actually heard this one get remixed already, so.įinal Victory?: This is a touch too subtle after the initial build-up, sounds less like a victory than the Boss Victory, and kind of gives away that this is not the end FAR too easily, IMO. PLEASE do so, this is easily one of my favorite tracks on the MMR OST, and I would hate to see it go. Welcome to Sondebar Base: If this song can be salvaged. It's way, way too subtle for a fortress theme, and again, it has that riff I'm not very keen on. Welcome to Skull Castle: I don't like this one. Stage Start: This one would need a remix, as its bassline, from what I've heard, uses a channel that would be out of style. Almost wonder if it could do with a bit of sprucing up and the higher note parts cut out or changed, especially since I think it's kind of long compared to the average stage select. When it starts gunning for the higher notes it just falls flat to me. As for the rest of the song, it's a remix of Intro 2, sharing a number of its problems, and tries WAY too hard to be menacing, I'd say scrap it.ĭire Needs (Stage Select Remir): Honestly, this is one of my favorite themes in the game.or at least the first half or so. Skull Castle Appears (Stage Select Wily): Agh, the lead instrument in the first part is.eugh. Quite a bit subtler than the average stage select, which tends to be a bit faster-paced, or more action packed, than this tune is. Light Labs: I am not sure what to say about this one, honestly, but I'm fairly sure this could be made better.Įnemies Surrounding (Stage Select RMs): This one is.okay, to me. Also, could be a touch too subtle, but its not as bad as the options theme. However, it might be a touch out of style. Pick Your Poison (Character Select): This sounds kind of like the MM&B song. Options Making: This is way, way too subtle, methinks, doesn't really work alongside the password/menu/save screen themes in official games. Title: If it's possible to spruce this one up (and mess with some of the instrument choices in it, as that's a rather high pitched square 1), I'd recommend it. The second half of this song is also dissonant. I'm not incredibly keen on the riff itself, honestly, though I don't mind a unique riff cropping up in most of Wily's songs. Intro 2: First up, the "Theme of Wily" that shows up often in this soundtrack. Intro 1: Wow.this song is amazingly subtle, in fact I would say it is a bit too subtle, at least when compared to similarly placed themes from the Mega Man series. I'll be using the official songs for a basis where I can. So, gonna post my own feelings on the old MMRevo OST and what could be done with the new stuff, because besides songs that could be remixed, there's also some songs that really shouldn't be.
